It’s summer time!!! Don’t you just LOVE this time of year? I feel like I say that every season! Although my kids aren’t in school yet and our daily routine isn’t that different, I still enjoy getting out and doing summer-y things with the kids. I love BBQ’s, eating dinner and playing games outside, playing in the pool, fireworks, being in nature, spending time with family and enjoying good food!
This year I decided to make a Summer Bucket List, full of ideas to keep us busy this summer! I actually debated doing this, since I knew we wouldn’t get to everything on the list, and I might feel disappointed at the end of the summer. However, I decided that having it posted in our home would be a great reminder of the fun things we wanted to do as a family. The Mr. works long hours, and I know I won’t always want to get out with 3 littles (sometimes you just need a down day), but hopefully it’s motivation for us to get out and enjoy the nice weather!
Many of the activities are low-cost and a great solution to when you hear those dreaded 3 words “Mom, I’m BORED!”.
I created a blank template that you can download, print and write in your own summer activities.
Here’s to a great summer!
